Because this is also an area where large deposits of fat gather and where both the unsupported stomach and fat deposits are often covered by loose, sagging skin, a woman is often left with a bloated "hanging" and unattractive stomach.

An abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck" is a surgical procedure in which our surgeon draws the abdominal muscles and tissue together, to tighten and narrow the area at the same time.

When this is completed, the surgeon stretches the skin back over the abdomen, and removes the excess.

The end result is a flatter and smoother stomach.
