Hymen Ring
An elastic and collegenous tissue. In younger women, hymen is very vascular as opposed to menopausal women, which are very thin. In adult virginal women, the hymen is a different thickness that surrounds the vaginal opening more or less completed. The hymental opening is crescentic or circular. As a role, the hymen is torn at several sites during first intercourse (coitus). Then hymen becomes divided, permanently, in two or more portions. Although commonly it is believed that rupture of the hymen is accompanied by bleeding, this is not seen in all women. The hymen may not be lacerated even with repeated coitus. In fact, many cases of pregnancy have been reported in women in whom the hymen has not have been ruptured.

The Vagina
The vagina is a muscular tube about 3 1/2 to 4 inches long. The vagina serves the following functions:

1/ it provides a passageway for menstrual flow
2/ it serves as a receptacle for a man's penis and his sperm
3/ provides a passageway for the baby during birth from the uterus to the outside

The vaginal wall can be distorted in different ways. The most common cause of vaginal distortion is birth trauma. After birth, women will develop relaxation of the anterior, posterior vaginal wall, which are called Cysto-rectocele. CN'sto-rectocels are hernias that cause organs to protrude into areas where they are not meant to be. When these hernias exist, women cannot feel completely fit or intact. The surgical procedure is designed to repair those hernias. Vaginal length varies. The anterior and posterior vaginal walls are 6 to 8 cm (2 1/2 to 3 inches) and 7 to 10 cm (3 1/2 to 4 inches) in length. Under normal circumstances, the vagina is a collapsed tube. During intercourse, the vaginal wall secretes a very watery substance, which serves as a lubricant during coitus. Without such lubricant, the insertion (penetration) of a penis could be very painful to both woman and man.

The vagina adjusts to the size of any inserted penis; large or small. However, that portion of the vagina which lies closest to the external opening may, in some cases, become too relaxed for the preference of either sexual partner. This usually happens after childbirth, as a result of aging, or in some families or races, more than others.

Hirsutism
Excess androgen (male hormones) production is usually associated with excessive facial usually hair, body hair. clitoromegaly (abnormal enlargement of clitoris), etc... Our modern culture has subjected us to a great deal of understanding and practical way of using new knowledge, which is now more than several thousand years old.
